My husband, Mike and I first visited ENCI in January 2005, when we, along with our 3 children, were in the process of looking for a church home. This was an arduous and taxing process that lasted a little over 6 months. Feeling frustrated, confused and discouraged and not knowing where we were supposed to be, we prayed for God’s direction. Exactly one week later, we received an email from a friend recommending Every Nation Church. Three days later, we were heading to Carmel to check it out.
The minute we walked into the sanctuary, the atmosphere was full of energy. Being of Filipino descent, I was pleasantly surprised to see flags from many nations hanging overhead. But the thing that set ENCI apart from all the other churches we had visited was the teaching; the messages were so rich and full of God’s Word.
Since becoming members of ENCI, we have experienced tremendous growth in our spiritual lives. For the first time in our 10+ years of being Christians, we’ve had solid biblical foundations laid in our lives and have been affirmed in our unique spiritual gifts. We’ve learned about the purpose and value of Spiritual Family, and have come to understand and appreciate the need for strong leaders of integrity as we’ve seen it modeled in the pastors and the leadership of this church. We’ve been able to take advantage of all the incredible tools available to us through Every Nation Ministries and have learned what it means to be a true disciple of Christ, as well as how to live out the mandate to “Go and make disciples”.
